December, 2023

Last, but not least...December!! What a great time we had this month finishing up our year! I had strep and missed our Waymakers party, but other than that it was a wonderful month. Celebrating the birth of our Savior was priority, but we made a lot of fun memories, too.

Family Christmas pic!

Daniel and Kenneth each got a deer this year...they'll feed our family for the next year!

Annual Island Christmas party!

The next few pictures are of Madison eating Chex mix for the first time. I put Tabasco in it so it's a bit spicy. She made the worst face, chewed it up and kept going back for more! It was so funny watching her eat it and I thought she didn't like it because of the faces she kept making, but she kept wanting more!

Poor baby didn't feel good for our visit this week.

I like minimal decorations...I've gotten rid of most of them and just put a few things out now.

Richard and Betty go to this campground every year. If you decorate your camper, you stay for free and there were a LOT of campers there! We're definitely going to have to bring Madison here next year to see them all. It was way more than what we thought it was going to be.

They had a cute setup.

Helping Grandma get lunch set up

Helping Grandpa and Dad get some work done around the house. She had so much fun climbing up and down this stepladder!

Won't be long before childproofing the doors will be necessary.

She loves taking walks and Grandma loves taking her!

Poster I found that Daniel made for school in the 7th grade...love these pics!

Mum opening her Christmas gift from John and Karen

What a beautiful family photo celebrating their 2nd Christmas.

Celebrating our Christmas wearing our comfy clothes

We did Secret Santa gift exchange this year, ate some great Cajun food and enjoyed the beautiful weather the Lord blessed us with!

Carrying her new purse!

Madison went for her Santa pics and things didn't go quite as planned.

Wait...did I hear something?

Pretty sure there's someone behind me.

Nope...not this year, Santa!

Candlelight Service at church

Christmas Day...Pam and Anibal were in town and we all got to visit.

Kenneth with his new El Camino!

Christmas Bunco...I'm blocking Bettie in this pic and we were missing a few, but we had fun!

Here's Bettie!

Headed out on Sunday the 31st with my New Year's Day dinners. I spent the day Saturday cooking so we could go to church Sunday, get our regular Sunday visit with the baby, deliver all the meals and spend New Year's Day at home. It worked out great!

Another fabulous year done with the best guy in the world!!

And just look at her New Year's picture...so looking forward to 2024 with this sweet little one!
