Christmas week...work and play and other miscellany

The week between Christmas and New Year's Eve was full of activity so I decided to lump it all in together!

Went over to Mum's one night and she cooked ham barbeque for dinner.  Haven't had that in a while and it was really good!

Haley tried to ply me with kisses but finally gave up when I wouldn't share dinner with her.

I don't know of any gift any of us has ever gotten that everyone has had more fun with than this drone.  The guys are having a ball flying it, I love to watch them and it, and it even had all of the neighbors out watching!  It's a pretty cool little thing.

After playing a bit, it's time to get to work.  Kenneth ordered a Vintage Air air conditioning unit and has been working on installing it.  I'm so glad Daniel comes up and helps - they both seem to really enjoy working on the car.  And it makes me happy to see them enjoying their time spent together.

OK...enough work for now.  Time to go fishing. Over across the canal is a fishing hole that all the guys like to gather at to fish and talk...

The next day, Kenneth was on his own working.

A man actually looking at the instructions!!

That flat black piece of metal is where he removed the factory A/C unit and welded a piece of metal over the hole.

He got his Christmas present hung up in the garage!

This is where all the boxes and bags of labeled parts are stored.

Here's my Christmas present!!  The Maltese cross necklace we went and ordered at McCary's before Christmas.  I absolutely love it and am so happy to be able to wear it with all the memories the stone brings.  My Grandmother and Mother wore this stone and now I'm blessed to have it, too.

I got to work one day and there were dozens of spider webs on the fence around the side lot.  Every one of them had dew outlining every strand of the web - it was so cool!!

Another dinner at Mum's - chicken over rice, potato salad and English muffins.  She's definitely spoiling me!!!
