Curt celebrated his 60th birthday in September and he and Lisa rented two huge, fancy houseboats that slept 16 each with all the comforts of home and then some on Lake Ouachita! We left the house Thursday, September 27th and headed for Arkansas. Kenneth had the boat hooked to the truck and I left work a little early so we could get there by dark. Curt, Lisa, Jorge and Sylvia were already on the boat and the six of us spent the night so the guys could get up before dawn and go on the guided fishing trip. The other 13 folks showed up Friday and we were ferried out to a private island until Monday. What fun we had!! We ate, drank, laughed, watched football, listened to music, acted goofy, built bonfires, swam, soaked in the hot tub, went down the slide, rode the jet ski, kayaked, and did it all again the next day...and the day after that, too! It is a party that will not be forgotten...so thankful for good friends and wonderful memories!
