Wednesday was our last day of riding and we decided to reverse our Sunday route to get a different perspective on it. It was pretty foggy Sunday, too so this allowed us to get views that we didn't get then. I didn't mind because it was such a beautiful ride - I could've done it ten more times and still loved it! We will be back to do this again, for sure - LOVED it all!

There were little bathrooms like this all over Custer State Park. Really happy they were...!! |
I was going to remember the name of this lake, but didn't. I'll name it Serenity Lake...:) |
One of the many "pop up" places to eat. |
Livestock in the road! |
These guys go wherever they want. |
When you're sitting on a motorcycle and an animal this size is walking around, it's a tad intimidating. |
After patiently waiting, we're back on our way. |
Needles Eye Tunnel on Needles Highway |
Crazy Horse profile. No fog today!! |
Rolled in to Hill City right in time for lunch!
Main St., Hill City-looks like another motorcycle rally! |
And who wouldn't want to eat at the Mangy Moose?! |
Great band playing - they were The Painkillers all the way from the Florida Keys |
On the road again headed for Prairie Berry Winery, home of Red Ass Rhubarb wine which I was not really a fan of. I did, however, purchase four bottles of wine I WAS a fan of!
Kenneth sizing up the place. He decided to wait outside... |
Hit the road again and stopped by the campground to wait out the storm, drop off the wine and get a little snack. Then we headed out for Full Throttle Saloon and Buffalo Chip.
What's left of the original Full Throttle Saloon after a fire a few years ago. |
They've rebuilt five miles down the road but this is where it all started. |
Beautiful sunset on the way back to the campground. |
A fitting view for a beautiful last ride for this trip... |
