Rapid City arrival and Day 1 - 8/1

 We arrived at the Rapid City RV Park & Campground Friday afternoon, 7/30 and got set up on our spots.  We got a pull through RV site and the tent camping site right next to it.  It was nice having a big space to use and after Curt and Lisa showed up Saturday, 7/31, we had room to park Curt's motorcycle trailer.  The guys pulled the bikes in it every night.  Saturday morning we got the garage ready for company and then took a ride down Nemo Rd.  I try to take pics of the countryside but there is no way to capture God's beauty...I love it here!  At least I love it in August...not so sure I'd feel the same way in January!  On Sunday, 8/1 we all took a ride on Iron Mountain Rd. where going through a couple of the tunnels, you pop out to a fantastic view of  Mt. Rushmore.  Rode down through Keystone and Hill City, then back to the campgrounds to grill up pork chops for dinner.  Great start to the week!
