We found a few things to do this month! Madison celebrated her first Valentine's Day, her first Ash Wednesday and was also baptized in a beautiful ceremony! We kept her overnight one night, she's trying new food - some she likes and some she doesn't - we visited her house, she visited ours and we have both thoroughly enjoyed being grandparents!! So thankful they're close enough that she'll know us. Natalee is on her high school's newly formed, first ever bowling team and we were able to make one of her meets. It was a great month!

Hello, 2023! January happenings...

Starting off the year right, posting January in June but it looks like that's just the way I blog so no more mentions of being late posting...I'm right on time for me!! And I'm also always posting pics a bit mixed up, but again, that's just my style so no more mentions about that, either...😁

Since all of our Christmas things got canceled, we had our celebration mid-January when everyone was well. And our Sunday-after-church-visits resumed with Madison and her mom and dad, too! Her baptism date was set, gifts bought and Grace fixed up the family heirloom dress for Madison and was it ever gorgeous!!

I had been having trouble with my right arm/shoulder. Pain in the upper arm causing numbness in my thumb and forefinger so I decided to try acupuncture. It was awesome! After the first treatment, the pain was completely gone - I would never have believed it if I hadn't done it. There was still a little numbness in my thumb so I did go back for one more treatment and that was it. She had needles stuck in me from head to toe!

After my first acupuncture treatment, we went to Marilyn's Place and used one of our gift cards. Cool place, good atmosphere and the food was really tasty!
