We left Hatch around 10:00am yesterday for the 170 mile trip to Moab, UT. Talk about some mountains to drive through...I just thought I'd been seeing mountains!! We certainly put that Ford F-250 to the test. There was a 75 miles drive through those mountains with no services at all and everything went great until one of the camper tires came apart. Thank goodness it was on the passenger side and we had a place to get off the road. After Kenneth had the tire changed, we drove to Green River, got a bite to eat and found a tire shop with only ONE tire left of the size we needed. Got that put on our rim and I felt much better having a spare tire again. Praying we can get home without needing it! We got up bright and early this morning and stopped for breakfast on the way to Arches National Park. Yet another very cool stop on this trip - all these monuments in one place out in the middle of nowhere and they are HUGE!! I again have so many pictures, but I want them in my book at the end of the year so I'm putting them all on here again! :)

| I never realized how big these tires are until this moment. The spare is stored under the camper and the dirt dobbers had built nests on it. So thankful Kenneth was able to get this all taken care of! He had his vest on and we had our safety triangles placed behind the camper. I never would have thought to get them, but he had me order all that before we left and I'm so glad I did...safety first! |

| Another camper told Kenneth that these mountain tops in Moab are the mountains on the Coors beer can. Whether or not that is true, the mountains are pretty! |

| I do know these are the Three Gossips and the one in the middle is Sheep Rock. |

| The board says that erosion is responsible for the way this and the other balanced rocks and spires in the park. The rock and spire are two different kinds rock with the spire being softer. It will erode more quickly so eventually the rock will collapse. |
