St. Paddy's Day

Weather permitting, we always trek to Dallas for their annual St. Patrick's Day parade.  I took off work at noon Friday, March 16th and we headed west.  Curt grilled for dinner and as usual, he got up and made us breakfast before the parade Saturday.  Thirteen of us met at the train station and took the train on in to the parade site.  I was the DD so no drinking and jello shots for me this year...OK...so I had two jello shots early in the day, but by the time I drove my crew home they were well diluted with plenty of food, water and protein drinks!  There are so many booths handing out free stuff that we seem to take home more than we bring.  Plenty of bananas this year.  After the 5K run, there were boxes of bananas left over and Doug got a whole box - probably about 200 bananas!  Curt grilled again and fried fish when we got back to the house and we all ate and drank the night away.  Got up Sunday and went to Bill's for breakfast then headed home to do laundry and relax a bit before hitting the ground running for Monday.  What a fun weekend it was!

Jello shots all around

More floats this year than ever!  They're all green.  Imagine that.

Dawn kept everyone in jello all morning - they made SO many!!

Even this guy had a few...then a few more...!!

Had to move the party indoors because a storm blew in.

Such a cool place. We try to get here every trip for the great breakfast!
