Monday, August 8th

The Steel Wheels Trading Post was right across the street from the campground and we stopped here every morning to fuel up.
Good morning to another beautiful day!  We were so blessed with wonderful riding weather during every day.  Storms did blow in every evening, but we were able to ride every day and see so much.

We usually stopped at least every hour, if not at a bar or restaurant, then just somewhere along the road to stretch our legs and drink a bottle of water.  One of our many rest stops!

...and beverages.

Everywhere we went, there were hundreds of motorcycles.  This was probably the coolest one I saw!

New shades...:)

Off we go again!

Just look at these fabulous blue skies!!

Welcome back to South Dakota!

Headed into downtown Sturgis to check things out there after our Devils Tower ride.

There were plenty of these signs to be found...

Iron Horse Saloon is a must stop place.

Note the painted lady in the bottom right corner...

Storms rolled in before we could get to the campground so we rolled into a parking garage at Mustang Sally's in Deadwood.

Had a nice dinner here and won $38 at their casino...not a bad stop!

Foolishness...some people's parents...

Downtown Deadwood, SD - such a cool little town!
